Wedding at Puente Romano

We love this venue, it is such a fabulous Spanish setting, so Andalucian.
Here we have yet again my snapshots from the day, and am promised more wonderful photos to come from the photographer :)
A beautiful vintage style bouquet, the wonderful scene for the ceremony and of course the fabulous Patio at Puente Romano set out for this wedding, with our table centrepieces and crystals supplied by the bride, simple & elegant within such beautiful surroundings.
More weddings to come from this weekend as our birdcages went up to Granada and we created two more weddings, one was a lovely soft pink wedding we sent up to the hills behind Malaga and the other to Nerja! We have been promised the photos :)

After a very hectic few weeks with none less than 4 weddings this weekend, we are delighted to show our fabulous wedding at Los Monteros with a black and white theme. There will be more photos to come of this wedding, these are our snapshots!
Our creative bride had thought out many details which we designed with her and created the theme of black and white with pearls.
There will be photos of the church in Marbella to come with all the bridal flowers, we created the fans decorated with black and white ribbons and pearls, the confetti cones again to match plus the mass booklets for the church, I took some snapshots before they left here!
For the reception we decorated miniature cava bottles for the girls with name tags tied on with white ribbons, decorated with pearls and a black straw and for the men we did cigars, again with name tags but decorated with black ribbons plus we had a fun time doing a lovely Disney Clubhouse kids table for her little girl who was also celebrating her second birthday, complete with Disney Clubhouse party bags, balloons and of course a birthday cake :)
Our lovely martini's adorned the tables, although they were on and off for a while due to the wind, that eventually as always here in Spain, died down as the evening progressed along with white lanterns hung on the gazebos and over the bar.
We loved the table names, all named after bands with the Commitments as the top table! My favourite table name was the grown up girls table, The New York Dolls!
More fabulous photos to come of this wedding, including the church, when I have nagged the photographer to boredom and beyond :) x

A beautiful wedding in Mijas

It is with a huge gratitude to Jeremy and his lovely assistant Jenny, that we are able to publish these wonderful images of one of our weddings in Mijas in April. These images, for me, make my work worthwhile, it captures all the thought, design and hard work that has gone into creating a dream day for my brides, to see it happening and to see it afterwards in such beautiful images, makes mine one of the most rewarding jobs:)
Notice I am in one of the photos doing our famous tree decoration projects! Guess which one?! If I can find a tree and decorate it I will :)
It is a pleasure to work with such an outstanding photographer and to check out Jeremy's beautiful slideshow, along with some fab spanish guitar music (he still has not told me who the music is!) http://www.jeremystandley.com/slideshows/Leilanieric
well worth a visit :)
For this wedding we never met the bride beforehand, she was based in San Francisco and was organising her wedding from the states, a hugely admirable lady, who managed to pull together some of the best suppliers of the wedding industry here and fly her family in from all over the world, to create her dream day.
I was delighted when she asked me to help her co-ordinate her day and I have to say it was a fabulous one, we even made the newspapers with this one.

Our sky lanterns hit the local news as the latest UFO's to invade the Costa Del Sol!!!
We even drove some of the guests home how is that for customer service!

As I had some comments from fellow followers. I thought I would find some inspiring photos of this idea, of course the wonderful Mint Flowers had these beautiful images, I hope you love them as much as I do and I love the idea of hanging them from the trees, we will be doing this for a wedding here in June.

Budget Centrepieces for Weddings

I have found as the recession hits so many brides are struggling to achieve their perfect wedding with drastically cut budgets.
One of the areas you can dramatically cut costs, without compromising on style, is with the centrepieces for your wedding tables. Flowers are beautiful but can really push the budget out of control.
This year we are providing brides with many alternative ideas for their wedding centrepieces, starting from as little as 20 euros.
We are hiring out birdcages with cream candles in, just decorated with a touch of ivy, flat glassware filled with crystal stones, water and floating candles, taller glassware filled with coloured water and a few flowers to decorate, our invisible candles are fabulous, glassware filled with citrus fruits, the list is endless but this is now a very popular idea.
Many of the venues here in Marbella also offer very basic centrepieces included in the price of the wedding package, but you are not stuck with these, here is how Reviva Weddings transformed 3 red roses into something much more spectacular, using our glassware, coloured sand, candle, table mirror and colour co-ordinated tealights we created this centrepiece for 24 euros.

Summer vintage style wedding

I have managed to do a bit of scouring the internet this morning before I head back to Nerja today and stumbled upon these fabulous images of a vintage style summer wedding taken by Rachel WhitingI adore all the details with that fabulous bouquet, David Austin Roses no doubt, the flowers on the bumper and those cute summery cocktail umbrellas, wonder what the cocktail was it looks delicious! It is so refreshing to see colours used in weddings, I am amazed as much as I love ivory, how many brides do not add in a touch of colour to their weddings.

Citrus Theme for weddings
In fact we are off to do a wedding later at the Balcon de Europa hotel in Nerja.
We have done quite a few weddings at this lovely hotel over the past few months as we have a nightclub decoration pack we have put together for this venue and our chair covers are always popular here. Today is our nightclub pack, chair covers with gold sashes, and some extra table decorations, only an hour to dress 100 chairs!
I have posted this citrus board as we are currently working on a wedding theme for one of our clients who is getting married later this year at the fabulous Suite Del Mar at Puente Romano.
Such a fresh and lively colour combo, we love it!

We are in the news!
A friend alerted me to this article in the local newspaper here on the Costa Del Sol about mystery orange lights in the sky. It was indeed some of our sky lanterns let off to celebrate the wedding of Leilani and Eric!
